to make it perform well on higher-conductive coins, mainly silver. Just using the round 9" DD HF coil, and checking the Reactivity, Discrimination and Frequency settings to see what works for that device. I have ample detectors with coils and settings to take on dene Iron debris in old sites, or tackle a modern trash-littered urban park. Just seeing if I can get the performance from the ORX for 'specialty work' in wide-open older parks that still have some old silver coins lurking in them. One reason to do this with the ORX is to take advantage of the light-weight design to allow greater time afield.

Curious if anyone else has done this with the simple, limited-adjustment ORX?
