Had a club park hunt last month with a few tokens buried for prizes for whoever found them . Found the usual stuff . Clad, some trash . Ground hard as a rock here in San Antonio Texas . But I did come up with one of the tokens , so I won a gold plated quarter . There were about 15 members that day at the park . Most were using Garrett’s , but there were some noxes , vanquish, a deus 11 , my wife Mxt all pro , no noktas , and I think a teknetics big bud ? Radio shack looking old style detector . All in all it was fun but hot . We have another club hunt on the 27th of August and thank God it’s been raining so the ground should be softer now . Anyways I was using the deus 11 with earbuds . General program , discrimination at 6 I believe and reactivity at 1.5 -2 . Square tone . I was getting some deep signals but with the ground being so hard and not being allowed to use a digging shovel just hand diggers , I left them there . The deus was a breeze to swing in that hot weather , being light as it is , it didn’t wear me out as quick and the earbuds kept my ears from sweating
