Hi all.
I'm new to this forum (but not in digging

)
Around 2019, I strongly desired an analog detector, but those old Tesoros that I found at auctions in my country were usually already veterans and raised questions.
And suddenly, one of the video bloggers who sells detectors, who changes detectors like gloves, using them briefly for review videos, put up for sale an almost new Vista X, I then had no idea about this brand and the detector itself. In the end, I won the auction.
The first exits with this detector plunged me into shock and disappointment. I even put it up for sale once, but (fortunately) it was not bought. The detector seemed to play with me, as soon as I began to doubt - he gave me finds, but then again punished me by ignoring. In the end, I sold my digital device, although the money received for it was not important to me. I realized that I wouldn’t master analog if I didn’t get rid of digital.
And now, I already have some experience. This winter, I bought a second 5.7" coil in addition to the existing 11x9" coil. Unfortunately, due to what is happening in my country (I am from Ukraine), I have neither the time nor the opportunity to devote myself to my favorite hobby, as before. But nevertheless, this year I made some exits.
What I would like to say is that the 11x9" coil is deep enough and I do not think about a larger size. But this is my subjective opinion, I really do not like big bulky sensors and digging deep pits, although, of course, this sometimes makes sense. Regarding 5, 7", then for its size the depth is excellent, but the scan area is small. Nevertheless, it works where an 8" concentric can be too big. Therefore, you need to clearly understand for which places the sensor is selected. Ideally, from the DeepTech arsenal, I would like to have three coils:
1. DD 11x9
2. Concentric 8"
3. DD 5.7"
But this of course is connected specifically with my requirements, habits and conditions. Perhaps someone else would prefer a different set.
