Any of the Deeptech machines handle wet sand at the beach?
But mostly a few Freshwater Beaches. I only worked a Saltwater Beach for maybe half-an-hour, if that, due to stormy weather.
I used the DeepTech Vista X and standard coil on the wide-open beaches. It worked well, but it was a matter of proper settings and Ground Balance as with any detector. On the Saltwater Beach it could be tuned to handle it okay, even though not a unit with a 'dedicated' salt mode. I just set it up the way I used to with some Tesoro models as well as White's IDX Pro.
I adjusted the GB for the ground mineral content, and then adjusted the Discrimination to handle the very low-conductive wetted salt when I worked out to the wet-zone. Between the GB and Discrimination setting, it did well.
