i remember using a "judge 6" back in "early '78"..it was running 100 khz.
damn fine detector with wonderful "audio modulation"i used it at an old state park in kingston,nh. i think i was one of the first ones in there, and i found the world!..silver war stuff practical laying on top,or only a few inches down.barbers, seated, and large cents, but what i remember most, was the number o silver dollars i pulled from the picnic ares! lots of walking' ladies, and franks, along with occasional barbers...the "judge" was terrific"
just a great 'coin sniper" down to about 4" or so!
