Re: Don't see much interest from others on this Monte.

December 28, 2018 08:25PM
I have tried this test years ago, even buried a quart jar full of clad consisting of pennies, dimes, and quarters. I went out to a freshly plowed up wheat field and dug down to about a foot deep and my XLT would pick it up with the coil raised up to knee height. I'm pretty sure that any one of my detecting team would do just fine on a stack of half dollars.

White's: MX7... MX5....IDX Pro Mr. Bill modified...., 6000 Pro XL with tone mod, 5900 CB, coils: 350 BlueMax, 5.3 Eclipse, Six Shooter, 5.3 BullsEye, 5½" HotHead Ferrett, ProScan 800, Royal 800, lots of 950's

Tesoro: Inca, Toltec 100, Toltec ll, Bandido, Bandido ll, Pantera, Amigo ll, Shadow X2, and Outlaw, coils: 4", 6", 7", Troy S7, 8" Troy S9, 10½" 12X10 DD
