OK MOnte, Now, what if.....

You could travel back in time to the beginning, knowing what you know now......

You could only take one detector from your current battery of detectors, back to that time of virgin sites and use it for the next 50+ years...for all your hunting.....

Drum roll please!
That detector would be.....????
You asked a very tough question, and I know how tough it is to try and answer because I ask myself the same question very often. I can sit in my den and glance at my wall of detectors that are ready to go.

Actually all of them are ready to go with the search coil mounted that I would want to use the most with that unit, except one. That is my MXT All-Pro because I need to get a 6" concentric coil then it will be ready to go.

For readers who don't know what I have in my Outfit, here's the list, alphabetically:

Fisher F44

Nokta FORS CoRe

Nokta FORS Relic

Teknetics Omega 8000

Teknetics T2+

Tesoro Bandido 2 microMAX

Tesoro Silver Sabre microMAX

White's MXT All-Pro

50 years ago today I had the pleasure and enjoyment of finding an almost unimaginable number of coins. They were everywhere it seems like, especially in larger more metropolitan cities and towns. As a Coin Hunter, I could grab any one of the detectors I have now and, knowing what I know, I would have unbelievable success.

However, since I know what I know, and since I especially enjoy Relic Hunting old sites with a dense amount of iron, my number one pick would be the Nokta Relic, and a very close second choice would be the Nokta CoRe.

And if you added one more condition to that decision and it had to be a product from here in the USA, it would be the Teknetics T2+, and right on its heels would be the White's MXT All-Pro.

There's the best answer I can give to your question because that's my current order of favorites since I try to spend most of my time in nail infested and other iron challenge sites. But it comes with the additional comment that it doesn't mean I don't like my other detectors. I most certainly do which is why they're in my detector outfit.
