a mound of dirt was pushed up from where a brush arbor church camp was. i eaked out 12 Indians, one a fatty 1863... i=in very decent shape. this was sandy dirt. i have a collection of eaten damaged ones from Georgia red clay. the spot i hit also had two seated dimes, a barber dime, and some gold Washed not plated costume jewelry, one tiny tiny wedding band, tokens buffaloes, etc... was a sweet little spot., pretty well depleted it. was about the size of a medium living room. lots of old burnt square cut nails from its demolition in the turn of century. cant get a signal much anymore. using different machines and coils. this was a "Po Folks" place. so the Indians were common and the dimes big money lol!

i have a picture of the first 9 Indians with three V's i found too flat buttons... will try and send it to myself from phone and post it. spots like this are rare to me. i went back and using different machines coils settings wet dry etc got the other three in the nails. all in album now for grand kid.

i will do it again this winter hopefully with a new machine. grass will be down some too. fewer copperheads, snakes, not pennies..lol!

Monte, digging lower signals i am finding more Liberty head "V" nickels in pounded places. as well as the usual no date worn buffaloes. I'll gladly take them.
