Sinking coins?

September 27, 2019 06:59PM
I was wondering if there’s anyone who could explain to me how coins supposedly “sink” with time. I have read on another person’s named forum that he says coins sink at a calculated rate. To me this seems unlikely. Too many variables exist that would alter the results I believe. My own experiences digging coins are so varied in respect to depth and age I am at a loss to explain it, much less believe it is a constant equation. Anyway I welcome thoughts on this subject. Maybe there’s no right answer?

Jack, there is a simple answer: 'Coins Don't Sink.' -- Also, a long storied post for ANYONE to read and answer.

How many agree with Ron's conclusions, and do you use a different detector?
