For us folks here in the UK the winter months are the prime time for detecting,very rarely does it snow and most of the crops are either out or just been seeded,ground conditions are usually moist which helps getting a decent signal down as well of course aiding digging the ground.

Summer months for us is the same as your winter months,rock hard concrete soil,crops in full growth and mainly pasture or beach detecting.

So we tend to do the reverse of what you folks do across the pond smiling smiley

Equinox,Deusx2,T2,TDI Pro,Nexus MP,Nexus SE,Fisher TW-5,IDX Pro,DFX,Arado120b,Mirage PI,Crossbow PI and just a few others.
