I'm with you ... almost.

Last year I only had to shovel 5½"-6" of snow all winter, but it did get cold. This year we had a record below-normal temperature October, received 2½" of snow in early November that melted away for a green grassy lawn by that evening. Then December first I shoveled 5" while it continued to snow and by sunset we had another 4"-5".. That gave us about 12" of snow this winter and we 'average' 10.2" per year. All that should be gone by tomorrow after a day of rain.

We've been foggy but with highs in the low-to-mid 40° range all week, 32° to 37° nights, and that let me hit the wood bin and get wood brought in for my wood stove and the coming colder weather. It arrives Sunday evening. A trip to the store and I stocked up on a couple of packages of Hot Chocolate and mini-marshmallows. I also made sure I have the Christmas season movies ready and got out the Christmas LP's to enjoy.

That was the safe way to go. No guitar around here as I never learned that skill so I envy you on that talent. I can hum along somewhat silently, and I have my seasonal red & green bucket handy. Bucket? Yep, something I need to help carry a tune.

I don't get your kind of winter whiteness but enough, and plenty of cold weather here on the high plateau desert to keep me indoors cleaning finds and not out looking for them. More of an internet Forum season.
