'Thank You' Vic. .. They are due this Thursday.

There are some 'local' companies here in the NW, such as Bi-Mart, and others around the US in scattered array. Mark does business with a place called Rural King which would be like D&B around these parts. A farm supply store with a lot more than just plant seeds and a rake. And you have places like Family Dollar, Dollar Tree and Dollar general type locations, as well as the notable ones like Walmart, The Home Depot, etc. where they all a major brand name as well as some other stuff and their own 'house brand' batteries.

When Mark finishes up his 4-battery testing with a load on each battery singly, and I do tests putting a load on 4 batteries in a metal detector as well as a flashlight, we'll then have a lot of results to look at. I'll handle the math to double-check the average battery run times, and also the average and sale costs of the different brands and models on a 'per-battery' basis. I should be starting my testing this evening as I've loaded the first set of batteries into the detector.

One thing we have both been learning is more about the sources of where batteries are made. Some rally good batteries and some that are terrible. And some that have been taking us both by surprise. Plus with winter here it gives me something extra to be doing.

Again, 'Thank You.'
