Interesting post/thread debate Callabash made on both Findmall & Tom D's forum titled "11 Inch Coil VS 6 Inch Coil" (Equinox Forum).----Varied opinions it seems.----Check it out.

Ya seems nothing is perfect. I've noticed that on several occasions where it seemed the 9.5x5 coil was able to hit a coin better in some cases over the small coil. But like in the video it was generally only dealing with a couple of targets, the good target and an offending target like a nail etc.

Now take a few places like we will be hitting in June on the outing. I could not imagine swinging an 11" coil. That 11" coil footprint can easily cover a dozen or more offending targets at once at some of these sites. Good luck trying to find a coin.
