Fair Warning

Remember, as with all skills that can be acquired, they can also diminish away if we don't use them.

Those skills that come from interaction with a detector diminish IF WE DON'T USE THEM.

UtahRich -

I have a fair share of detectors on-hand. Not a day passes when I don't handle one or more of my devices as I am always curious about something I hear someone say, or post in print, or offer in a video. I have a lot of Test Samples and on occasion use a planted test garden. Instead, I prefer to just head out detecting and "learn as I go" because there is a lot to learn and I'm always willing.

As I've told people now since the late '70s, I always want to learn all I can. Whenever I pick up a detector, be it here in my den, in a dealer's shop, at a major show/event, or just out detecting, I always want to refresh my memory of something I have learned in the past, and I always want to learn something new. and the more I learn or refresh in my memory, the more I can apply when I head out detecting.

Sure wish it wasn't winter so I could go get some outdoor learnin' and not just indoor confined study type stuff.
