Monte, I think we need to all get together and send UtahRich a bunch of 9v batteries. He could use his Garrett carrot for testing. Just put it on the kitchen countertop and slide it towards the stove until it starts beeping and then let it go and keep track of how many hours each battery lasts.

In fact, his wife might want to get involved in this experiment and help keep track of the hours. It would be sweet and once again shows how detectoring can bring couples even closer together. smiling smiley


Not sure that's such a good idea. If an orange carrot is left on the counter it is likely to end up in the blender. winking smiley
