Only 'ONE' used detector?

Is there a detector out there that you wished you had again ? Or missed out on entirely and now it's discontinued ?

What 1 detector would you choose ?

Rich -

Often I have thought about several, many, detectors I liked and wouldn't mind having back, but, today, my pick is between two, and mainly just one.

If I was still healthy and able to get out and enjoy this great sport like I once did, and had room for a few more 'just because', I'd like an XL Pro, a T2+ and even a few that I have let go. However, times have changed. Within the last year I have had two choice condition Omega 8000's that went to Del, and two F44's that I sold to local folks in June.

But heath issues have compounded quicker than I wished and with the back pain and mobility issues I deal with, I made the decision about early July that I need to change things up. I can't handle the rough terrain and snaggy brush of many relic hunting sites, so i decided to dedicate about 85% to 90% of my allowable hunt-time to more urban coin & jewelry hunting locations, and leave 10%-15% for a few old-site adventures.

Also, in order to hang in there as long as I can, I am trimming down to some of the lightest-weight and more comfortable detectors I enjoy and that's why I have been thinning out a lot of what I own now, and there will be more listed soon, I'm sure. By the time I was driving home from meeting Del to sell the Omegas I was already missing them. The same goes for the F44's especially letting a kind older gal talk me out of my own personal unit with the 7" Concentric coil. Actually, I talked her into the model, but by the end of the discussion she left with my choice unit after I boxed it up.

About the end of July I got in my Accessory Coil Tote to pull out the extra coils to go with the models I am selling and noticed I didn't have the box with the Fisher 7" Concentric coil. I had three of them. One on an Omega and on an F44, and a 'spare' new 7" for back-up. For the life of me I couldn't remember what might have happened to it.eye rolling smiley Then I said to myself, that was OK because if I didn't have that favorite coil for those two models, I wouldn't need to look for another detector. Oh, a sigh of relief.smiling smiley

Then the other day I received a PM from George that jogged my memory. He sent back two coils I had sent him to evaluate on some of the models he was checking out this past spring and, yep! That included my 'missing' 7" Concentric coil that arrived a couple of days ago.

NOW, since I have a coil I want, I AM looking for JUST ONE of the older models I have had but sadly parted with. A very light-weight detector that isn't for Relic Hunting, but will make a great 'regular carry' Coin Hunting model to keep in my vehicle. The real trick is finding one that is in pristine condition and works well.

J.t., you're partly correct on the 6000 Pro XL but wrong on the M6.
