thanks Monte. it was set to knock out the zinc, but will still hit on copper wheats. but not the Indian i had. i will try some other indians, but will probably just use it the way it is.

on a thought there are only a few dug indians worth very much, except fun to me. my soil in the edge of fall line is red clay and it eats them like a zinc . the sandy transition can be gentler in most places. the main thing i would do is use it in manicured parks where not to dig anything but a choice signal. like a silver coin. let the rotten zincs be fertilizer. maybe help decide dig no dig. dont want to get tossed.

so i guess its actually set. as well as it s gonna get lol.

By the way the Fall Line is where the ancient oceans met the land mass they say. there is a scraggly line from northeast Georgia to southwest Georgia the north is the Piedmont and then the other is Coastal Plains. the soils are very different, red clay and granite in the north and sand and white clay (Kaolin) in the plains. mineralization is horrible in both, run high 80's on my units with meters.

When I'm trying to determine whether or NOT to disc the zinc penny "window", i also look at the area I'm hunting. Some brass trade tokens, older wheaties and gold rings fall into that area and I have to figure if I want to lose those as well. thumbs up

It's YOU that makes the difference.
