Re: This machine looks familiar

Zincoln ....

.... when I bought Spectra Vision on the way back from Spain on the way back in September ..from a colleague who owned 4 Spectra together and said that Vision is the best ... I knew I was going to test Vision for Mike in a while .. Test field Top Digin ,, to find out .. how this detector can handle the latest Top detectors .. which have been tested several times on various coils ,,,

The top Diggin test field .. is mineralized and contaminated with iron, as well as ceramics, coke and burned nails and pieces of coal suggest that there was a fire in this place in the distant past ..... so this test field is quite similar to the roman civilization sites. ..

The test field turned out to be really challenging for Vision - because it worked well there and only Ground filter 10hz Band or 12.5 hz Band ..., and I tested Vision for several hours on 3 reels:
6x10 "Sniper, 12x10" SEF, and 13 "Detech Ultimate ..

The best results were obtained by Vision on a 12x10 "coil at the optimal setting of 3Fmulti- Best data, RxGain 6-7..DS 92 ,, allmetal 80, ground filter 12.5hz band .., sat 35-40., Recovery delay 30 ..- which sent out the best in terms of good depth and separation..in the test .., and TX Bost ON ... also did his job in depth and also sensitivity to small gold targets..so I would never have achieved the results on the increased RX Gaine at 12 ...

I would like to remind you that during the test of Depot 450 grams of silver at 80-85 cm ... Spectra Vision did not have a problem sending targets for recovery delay 10 ..- but the signal was already much shorter ..

Now for the Results ... Mike estimates, Vision would have scored about 90 points ... out of 150max.
Vision is deep and had an excellent ID at this setting, but did not hit several separation targets that were difficult to separate. , of which there are several in this field and either they are naturally camouflaged or they are camouflaged by additionally stored iron or coke.

Other coils:
The Mars Sniper 6x10 "coil did not hit several deep targets, or targets in 3D separation ... and obtained significantly less good results ..

Coil 13 "Ultimate was not bad .. but it did not show data for some targets masked by surrounding iron, as well as some separation targets .. this coil worked best on 10 hz band filters .. because on 12.5 hz band filters. The coil was throttled ... as if he started to miss certain goals reach ...
The rest of the setting turned out to be good, as before .. for the coil 12x10 "SEF ..
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ---------

While testing ..Vision, I communicated with the signal to Mike .. who had some time on the test field of the V3i spectrum and the surrounding terrain .. a total of about 60 hours .. and we came to the same conclusions regarding the correct setting of the Spectra on this terrain ..
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------

Now to Alter71 ... I tested Alter for less than an hour with 3D iron Test, as well as on the Test Field .. on a 23cm DD spool, on my "super ID" program .. I chose a 23 cm DD spool therefore. .because I consider it so far to be the most optimal depth-separation coil for such terrain .. Separation in the 3d Iron test was shown at the level of Deus .. and on the settings from the iron test the whole test continued.

The settings of Alter..and the coil did not disappoint me and according to Mike the detector would get around 130 points out of 150 max. In these depth and separation tests.

in addition, he managed to get a signal in a blind test on 2 unmarked Roman silver coins on a certain part of the terrain on the side of the test field.

ALTER 71 was set in the test for recovery 7, sensitivity 85,, mask 2. and frequency 18.4 khz .. sat 20, audio gain to 55 .. my proven settings for coil 23cmDD ..

Comparison Tests ... They can be interesting, and here's a 're-test' I'm doing.
