I can't get out and hunt like I used to, and, as you do, I pamper my equipment and keep it tidy on a regular basis, and with a good assortment of makes and models on-hand it spreads the use-time out, too. I really like the Vanquish 540 Pro Pack for a lot of applications, but I can't handle the big-park / deep-target hunting like I used to and would have traded the V-540 package and a little $$ for a newish Garrett Apex for one of my sons ... if I knew of anyone looking to do so.

They do produce an impressive response when coins get into that 6 Inch-and-deeper range, and I think you'r right that a lot of users just don't hear it and learn it.
