when you are hearing impaired..

November 30, 2020 11:19AM
i lost a lot of my mid tone sounds, am basically almost tone deaf. on verge of needing and prob do now, need a hearing aid. i cannot hear or decioher sounds with background. the low faint signals to me on some detectors are on sounds. i have had friend say you walked over this-- then take my unit and show me the target in ground and i still cannot hear it.

three tones and good audio i can deal with, if its set up loud. i still miss sounds. theSimplex and Troy good and loud. the AT Pro also good. vibrate is option, lights or a meter but i hate watching meter because i am not as aware of surroundings and my hunt partner passed so i hunt alone. by the way a downtown park i hunt occassionally had a shootout from a bar fight on the sthat street over the weekend, 1 dead 6 wounded, over sixty shots fired, businesses riddled with bullets. i am sure i will find the usual lead/casings, more then the crime lab lol, evenutally.

May the last hole i dig be my own, and will a fellow detectorist cover me up. And you can have the pulltab!

A quick tally is: 3-Tone, then 5-Tone, then 2-Tone are most preferred.
