H! monte! I have found over time that the 7" coil on the Mojave gets me quite adequate depth in coin hunting spots.i generally get down around 7,or 8" on average which is where "most'' of the good stuff is, so the Tesoro does well, with excellent "modulation" on deeper hits. the "540" on the other hand,is a "beast"
on deeper coins.with really sharp i.d.both the 8 and 12" coils separate very well.
and it allows me to ''score" some nice stuff in "heavily worked" public sites. both detectors are "fun" and they keep me in "anticipation" every time I get out!
