It ain't me doin the thinkin John.----It's what the parks caretakers (and "John Q Public") thinks seeing someone lugging a shovel around in "their" parks.----And I can tell you "it ain't much"--neatly covered holes or no!-----That's one (of several) reasons why so many park type areas have been closed off to detecting.-----Same thing goes for ole fairgrounds--this happened just a short time ago.----We have one that we have been hunting for YEARS with no problems with the caretaker or fairground manager.----Then an ace shows up with his detector & shovel & went to work.----They were going to close the place down to detecting because of this but Patsy went to the fairgrounds office & convinced them not to---but the shovel slinger was history.------Del-------
