There is a lot of old trails here and many spots that are too far to hike to get where I want to detect. The other dilemma is many places are somewhat remote with no safe place to park. We also have quite a few rail trails that have very old grounds to hunt.

After lots shopping around I finally pulled the trigger and got myself an ebike. I put a rear rack on it and couple of my machines velcro on nicely to it with pouch up front on the handle bars. I may make a proper rack to hold them and make it easier to carry my other machines.

I may get a carrier for my car so I can get to other areas I have been wanting to detect.

Range on this bike is 30-40 miles on one charge and bike is on the light side compared to others coming in under 60lbs. Many ebikes run close to 80lbs which is a bit much.
