And "
detector talk", as you put it, is really the primary reason I decided to start the Forums. I have always enjoyed talking detectors and learning detectors .... and it hasn't sopped to this day. You notice I always like to read about the detectors and coils and settings used by posters because we can all learn something from them.
And we also lean just who happen to be more involved with learning a detector(s) and putting in time to know it well and express their opinions about strengths and weaknesses. You, Rich, are exactly one of those I listen to. No perfect detector, and no-one is the most knowledgeable on all detectors, either. We all should learn, and use what we each feels fits their needs the best, even though it might differ from other's opinions, experiences, or choices of equipment.
Using, learning, and sharing with others is just what folks here ought to appreciate. I know I do, and I thank everyone for contributing to UtahRich's post.
Now, let's look forward to spring just a couple of months away.
