I'm impressed with videos & reviews of the Manticore and Deus 2. I do have the Legend and I've seen posted it's as good as the 900. I expect as good as good as the Manticore & Deus 2.
The Legend has very impressive separation in iron. I haven't been able to use these setting in a real hunt yet but the Legend hits this dime all around. At 90 deg it hits good but is harder to get a hit as you raise and lower the coil. All other angles hits the dime with the coil raised and lowered. That's an impressive test I think.
I'm using the 6" coil, Pitch, Iron Bias 1, Stability 4, Tone Break or Disc 8, Recovery 3. With disc & tone break at 8 there is no sound swept over the nails & screw.
The Legend is a little heavy but is very easy to hip mount in a fanny pack or other bag. I do hip mount mine making it nice and light. I should have the 6x9.5 this week or next.
This is the test.
