For tight quarters in the rusty tin and iron I fall back to the Nokta CoRe with the small OOR coil. Thank you Monte for parting with this nice specimen in a moment of weakness. Gregg thinks it is the perfect detector (baring the lack of iron audio). Monte holds the CoRe and Relic in most esteemed ghost town status well above his Tesoro s which he quietly slipped into retirement and brings out on rare occasions for show and tell.

My grandson enjoys the Mojave I have for him. I think it is important to learn audio first. Like we all agree, the Tesoros have nice audio. I have an 800 for him to use once he gets a bit bigger. My daughter goes out once in a while as well and like the ease of use of the Minelab.
