Late 80's early 90's puttered around with a BH that had a whopping 4-5" depth. Back then I was building split cane flyrods and fishing more than detecting. Got bit more serious when I got an AT Pro then the Tejon. Water hunting really sparked my interest in the hobby but the Tejon got me hooked when I started finding stuff others missed. Spent last few years hunting the worst of the grounds where there was much less competition and have done pretty well.
