Those were 2 differently tuned machines where the T2+ has boosted gain similar to what Fisher did with the F75. As for coils I believe Fisher and Technetics machine wind them where as many of the older analog machines the coils were hand wound especially when it comes to concentrics as the Bx needs to be tweaked per coil.

Good test is use same machine (either one) and swap coils on that machine. I'm pretty sure Technetics was more consistant.
