I call horse shit on this.

I've hunted for decades, and i often hunt with others also using high end detectors. On questionable targets, i will call the other over to have a "look-see" at my target with their detector. It is common for their detector to not see the target I'm going to dig. I've had the reverse happen as well. Happens all the time. Especially with co-located targets or targets at the fringe of detection. One detector will see the good target, the other won't see it at all. Funny when it happens with somebody using the same brand and model of detector. Hey, what are your settings? Settings will be fiddled with and so on, hoping to find a setting that allows the target to be seen.

The OPPOSITE is ALSO TRUE - and can be worse. Detectors will see bad targets and call them good while another detector correctly 'rejects' it.

All detectors are essentially the same? - BS.
