One last idea on this whole topic of best machines. I personally think that all The machines work very well. I think a lot has to do with search techniques
and hunt techniques. I don't know about all the calibrations on the machines so I buy pretty simple to use machines. I do however know after many years of hunting that things are found in out of the way places so I hunt places that people don't generally go to if I am a big park like mount tabor I most certainly don't stay to the grassy areas. The grassy areas have largely been cleaned out years ago. So I hunt the hard to get 2 places I hunt under shrubs I hunt steep hills and I am happy with the results I've had over the years. Having said that, new finds can be found on grass. Not so much for 100 year old mark which is my target.
