A few years back on an outing in Wells we were all in Toano that last day I left and headed for home and my head was foggy for some reason. Got home and started to unpack and what the hell, I had a new box in the back that had a new ORX in it. The haze in my head started to clear and I had to piece back together how this could have happened.
The best I can figure ( and I have no proof) is that "someone" snuck over to my cooler in the back of my pickup and poured XP Juice in my drinking water........................
Fast forward to today and Kickndirt and I are texting back and forth. I figure let's just call him and save from having to do all this typing/texting stuff. My mistake ( head shaking back and forth) the conversation ended and when I hung up, I'll be damned......I have a Simplex with Stock & Mid coil headed my way. Can't blame XP Juice on this one............still figuring out what happened.
Oh well !! I figure I can put this lil machine to some good use. Zincoln will be headed over this way soon and we want to 4 wheel into some way off the path sites and check them out. The Simplex will fold up nicely and go in the saddle bag on the bike. Plus I'm curious how the 12KHz does, it seems to be a "prime" freq.

And on those rare occasions I do try to detect those damp, rainy, gloomy days this lil machine can handle the moisture.
Unfortunately, they do not offer the small 5" coil for this machine. But from what I have seen and heard and seeing the one Monte had while he was still in this area, it might just darn well compete a little to good against their current flagship machines. Guess we will never know.
Looking forward to getting it. Won't replace my CoRe but will have a lot of uses for it if it turns out to be as good as I think it might. With the 9x5 coil it competed darn well against other Nokta/Makro machines with the same size coil when we played with it over at Montes when he was still in Vale.
