Yes, they have some challenging soil but we can encounter other locations where the ground mineral make-up to is really bad. That's why it is always good to use some 'down-time to lean all we can.

If we get to a site and get ready and do a Ground Balance, we can take a few minutes and check the GB. Know what it is like and how to get the most out of your detector. Your black playground sand of several years ago sort of duplicate those conditions.
