A manufacturer needs a complete product line. Something for the low-end, affordable, beginner or starter unit that will hold up and provide reasonable performance.
Something they can consider ,mid-priced, that is affordable, offers ample general-purpose performance and could be used by about anyone, anywhere. Then, they have their top-of-the-line model. Nokta can dump that cheapish 1st Swing and the new Simplex Lite can be their new lower-end model.
Then, what to have as a mid-priced model between the Simplex Lite and the top-of-their-like Legend? A Simplex BT or a Simplex Ultra? No real logic,
in my mind, to offer both of them. Unless your top-end model has a price tag of $800 to $1000, you're limited on what you can offer at what price.
Who knows, maybe the Legend will end up being a mid-priced model and Nokta will introduce a new top-end unit that competes with the other flagship models?
