I supported the Utah Treasure Association until the end attending meetings every month. But it got down to just a handful of people going each month. Many of the long time members have passed away over the years and no new blood was coming in. So it really got down to Dave not being able to carry on and no one wanting to take over the club. Got to have support for these clubs if you want them to stay around. Guess I'll be seeing you more often now Mike, as NUTS will be the club meetings I'll be attending now.
Ya Andrew, it got harder for me just because of the day of the week it's held and my work schedule. The last few meetings I made were definitely a smaller crowd. Dave has done a great job and he had been BEGGING for help the last few years. The thing I liked about UTA was that it was more of an adventurous group . I enjoy the NUTS club for the focus on trade tokens but they don't do sponsored outings. I have organized a couple of "unofficial" group hunts with them that have turned out well, might have to do some more of that this year.
Looking forward to seeing you more!
