Interesting idea. I might participate in something like that to reach detecting friends from other states if it was organized to give attendees meaningful involvement and not just listen to one person's agenda. Could really open things up in terms of guest speakers...

The one trainwreck I see is having any kind of finds of the month contest online. Hell, people would post pics of gold coins, twenty cent pieces and the like. At least with in person meetings, the cheaters have to buy their items to submit We used to have a guy that did just that until he got busted.

I spend a lot of time on Zoom talking to supposed coworkers from other departments who don't want to come to work anymore. It's not my favorite but there are some benefits.
