Stev, it looks like your waiting on silver to appear is over Congrats!

My friend, Aundrea, plucked a '42 Washington quarter yesterday from under a tree root that was about 6" deep, using her XLT w/8" coil. Most of the silver I have taken this year (all dimes. sad smiley ) have been no deeper than about 3½"-4". Yes, we know there can be an assortment of reason, logical ones, that explain why coins might be (in some cases) located a bit deeper, but in reality, few of them are. Honest Depths tend to be close to what you have reported. It's more a case of someone learning their detector, having the patience to slowly work a potential area, and then recovering the target.

I enjoyed the performance for silver shooting with the SE Pro I had, especially liking the 11" 'Pro' coil when hunting open areas. Best of success as the year progresses!

It looks like your silver-finding trend is on the right path.
