shoot me an e-mail. It might be easier to discuss this method via e-mail, or you can call me and I can walk you through the steps verbally.

I also have a 6" concentric coil as well....If I decide to mount it to the Silver microMax how does one adjust the GB to match the coil...could anyone explain? smiling smiley
Yes, I can explain it, and Ground Balancing your silent-search, Discrimination function ONLY detector requires a GB technique I started using many decades ago, and labeled it "Power Balancing."

The thin 6" Concentric coil is my personal favorite for almost any Tesoro for most applications where the conditions are in tight brushy or rocky terrain, and especially when dealing with trash. Modern trash environments around parks and picnic areas, etc., or for my favorite old-use favorites where Relic Hunting meets the challenges of a lot of discarded debris, especially ferrous-based junk.

Just shoot me an e-mail, and if you'd like to plan a phone conversation with me that would be great. Even better if you lived within a reasonable driving distance where we could meet up and I'd do it for you/with you.
