Well I almost made it thru half of Feb. and then darn if I didn't snag this thing. Guess I will have to become familiar with the "Beep & Dig" forum on Findmall.
Oh Well !!! guess resolutions are like rules.....made to break. cool smiley
Congratulations!

Now you have a model in your arsenal that can be used for:
Coin Hunting
Tot-Lot Hunting
Gold and Silver Jewelry Hunting
Relic Hunting
• Ghost Towns
• Stage Stops
• Military & Pioneer Encampments
• POW Camps

Renovation such as Sidewalk Tear-Outs, etc.
.... and the list goes on.

Yep, get with the 'Beep & DIG!' and see what everyone is out finding, with a 'simple' detector that 'functions' well, and lacks all the fluff-and-fancy of the moderns TID and Tone ID and extra gadgety models. Oh, I like some of them as well, but I have relied on keeping 2 or 3 Tesoro's in my detector battery for 34 years as of this July.

So anyone else going to get a machine this year ?? maybe the Impact or ???? or at least break a few resolutions smileys with diet Dr. Pepper float
Yes, I have.

I have the Nokta Impact, and it will joins my two FORS Relic's and FORS CoRe.

I added to my Tesoro line with a new Vaquero, which I just got back yesterday from Tesoro with the high-tone mod and mounted my new 6" Concentric coil.

The new Vaquero 6" coil arrived last Wednesday, in the box with my new Mojave.

And I now have a very nice condition White's on the way next week. No, it's not a new model, just one of my two all-time favorite White's detectors and this will make XLT #28 that I have owned. I thought I could get by without an older, heavier, moderate-to-fast sweep detector, but I guess if I am going to have one White's it ought to be my favorite White's.

The detector display on my den wall is a bit crowded now and I think I need to thin out one or two units. I know my two FORS Relic's are staying, but I do have two Makro Gold Racers and ought to trim that number to just one.

PS: Then I think I might have figured out how 'Pulltabs' changed to Oregon Gregg. See, the clues were hidden in your newer handle, the O and the G as in......

Oh Gee! I think I'll buy another detector this month!smileys with diet Dr. Pepper float
