First Welcome to our ahrps forums. Second comma welcome to the Omega 8000

Version 4 my favorite Omega series. I used every Factory coil on my Omega version fours and a couple of aftermarket coils. If I had to narrow it down to owning only one coil it would be the round 8 inch concentric. If two coils it would be the 8 inch concentric and 5 inch Double D. Other than that I wouldn't need anything else and I find the larger coils to be too nose heavy. I would get the five inch and 8 inch, and put in the time to learn the Omega 8000.

I used to use that as my primary Coin & Jewelry hunter in my detector Arsenal even over my MXT Pro and MX-5. Both those are very good detectors, and the MX-5 came in a close second, but the Omega 8000 version 4 with the 8 inch and 5 inch coils was a very enjoyable detector to use and provided a lot of in the field performance. I'm using my phone to make this post, but everything Oregon Greg mentioned is good information. Where are you located?
