Very detailed and with good explanations. Of course folks here in the USA will have to figure out the CM to IN measurements but that's all part of the fun of learning.
And you're correct by pointing out an 'Air Test' as one very good method to get to know some basics of a detector and settings, and it does give a rough idea of how some models might compare. I also do a few different comparisons using a quantity of coins to represent a 'cache' or, as you refer to it, a 'hoard.'
