Curb Strip Finds 12/15/18

December 15, 2018 08:44PM
I managed to brave the partially frozen ground for possibly the last outing of 2018. Scored 1930 and 1948 wheat cents, about $2 in clad and a few other small trinkets including a shotgun shell headstamp that dates back to the late 1890’s to early 1900’s. Felt good to get out and dig some holes. All of this was found using my Tesoro Vaquero with a 6” concentric coil. Overall, I was very impressed with the machine/coil’s ability to pick through the “trashy” areas and not false on junk.
