How did that get there?

I've had my old bandido out the last few days prepping it to visit the Wells area this coming June. I removed the old 8" white coil with 8' long cable and replaced it with an older 8" slim coil w/3' cable from my very old and clean Golden Sabre. I've been messing around with the combo making sure it is working correctly. It is a very handy duo and performs well. I'm looking forward to spending some time with it.

I've always liked the audio of the Tesoro's. If I had a word to describe, it would be "pleasant". The Bandido and my Deus will be making the trip. Gregg has scoured his 'detector bunker' for parts to get my CoRe back up and working. Between those 3 I'm hoping to have my bases covered.

As for old coins turning up in new places, I look through my old coins I've held onto since I started detecting way back when and wonder if all the silver dimes and quarters will end up in the cash till of some local 7-11 once I move on to the big ghost town in the sky. eye rolling smiley Hoping NOT. I'm trying to make sure my kids and grand kids have an appreciation for the old coins, tokens and cool items I've found and kept over the years.

Take'm hunting I say. thumbs up
