A lot depends on where in Oregon you are. Where I am in far Eastern Oregon we still have the crime scene tape on all the playground structures, and there are some parks that have signs saying they are closed, but I still go detecting out in the middle of the grassy area at some of the unmarked parks, away from the marked-off areas, and haven't had a problem.

I also get away to ghost towns in the area, and I'm headed out in just a few hours to make the drive to Nevada for the 12th WTHO. Not a Traditional Coin Hunting adventure, but a lot of fun!
