Re: Finding your Roots -

That reminds me of a Morgan dollar I found with the Minelab Explorer in an old town park.-----It was under a large root of a huge tree and the Morgan was around 5 inches deep & under that large root.----I dug down & hit that root but had to dig another (slanting) hole by it to get to the coin.---I've found other silver dollars but that's one I'll never forget.--------Del---

One of my favorite finds was up at a ski resort beneath a group of trees - Found with my Compass XP-Pro.

A lovely 14k Mens ring several inches deep. Recovery took some doing as it had a tree root that had grown thru the opening of the ring. thumbs up Wish I would have had my Sampson shovel for that one.

Correct ... physical challenges, like tree roots, turn many away from target recovery. N/T
