There's a little green-space a few blocks from my house that Ive passed by for the last 24 years giving it little to no thought of searching. It sits on the other side of a little creek seperating it from a small neighborhood woodchip playground. Its just big enough for a turkey day family football game.Something told me to check it out so Ive spent maybe 2 hours over the last few weeks working it with the XLT and 6" coil. So far its yielded over 2 dozen coins and 2 Hotwheel cars. Nothing old and the targets range from surface to 4" deep. The plus is I can cut a plug without the aid of a pick or dynamite this time of year. Ive covered maybe half of it. If you come across one of these little spots it might just payoff to swing a coil for a little while.
