--- and it will be September 1st, and for me, that signals the start if Fall, and that means less heat, cooler and more comfortable weather which hints for more pleasurable detecting.

I know fall is my favorite season of the year and I am hoping it will bring a change for a lot of you. It signals more people out detecting and I'm looking forward to more forum posts with interesting stores of trips afield, exciting finds, and photos from those who take them.

Oh, and don't forget to fill us all in on the detector and coil used and the settings you use. That's information many of us are curious about.

Fall's coming and so is more enjoyable detecting. Of course that means winter will follow too soon for those who live in more northern locations, but try to get out as often as you can before the white stuff and freezing temperatures arrive.
