I've had my finds pouch for a VERY Long time and the wear is starting to show. It's been good to me. I'm going thru my equipment and each winter I have another look at my finds pouch to see if it will survive another season. I'm thinking it is time to have a back up.
It has 2 separate pouches. The right side is used for trash and the left for generic keepers. The bottom of the pouch is mesh that allows fine sand and water to pass thru. Usually good, but sometimes the water / dirt / mud going thru gets on the front of my pants. Consequently, mesh isn't a requirement. Anything noteworthy goes in the little zip pouch in the front OR in an old Prescription Pill Container with a twist lock lid that goes in the keeper side. I do like having separating sides - one headed to the trash can and the other going home, rather than having them in the same pouch for later sorting. I often carry a tiny spray bottle of water in the front zipper pouch for cleaning off silver coins
Also, the pouch has it's own belt which makes it very handy for also keeping my pin pointer and Lesche digger each in their own sheath. I can disconnect the belt and the whole works goes in a carry bag. Easy on and easy off.
I'd like to see a PIC of your favorite FINDS pouch and thoughts about why you like it as I start looking for that NEW just right finds pouch. I have several of the cheap canvas nail pouches for emergencies. Not quite what I'm looking for BUT in a pinch, can get me through.
