Mine is getting pretty worn as well, but it has served well. This one threads onto a web belt, has two small pockets inside the large pocket and has mesh in the bottom, and a small pocket on each inside end where I carry a toothbrush and a small spray bottle. It also has an outside zipper pocket where I carry snack bars and, pre-Deus, I used to carry batteries.

On one outside end is a place reportedly made to carry a pinpointer, but I had trouble making that work. On the other end is a pocket that will hold a 12 oz water bottle, a must for hot days. Also pictured is a prescription bottle for the good stuff and an inexpensive loupe OregonGregg gave me.
I used to carry my pinpointer on the cuff cup of my detector (still do on my Racer 2) but I started using the pictured “holster” on my right leg (the one I kneel on.) I thought it looked sort of dorky having a “tactical holster” for my pinpointer but it actually works quite well for me. I saw it in a detector store but found it on Amazon.
A setup I have considered trying is a fishing vest. I have seen a couple guys using them but have never taken the time to explore the possibilities. Any reports from someone who uses one?
