Looks like your 'rig' is set up very similar to mine.

As for fly fishing or Camera vests - I've seen an occasional Youtube video with somebody using one and placing various compartmentalized containers in the pockets holding coins. I've thought about using one but not sure that I really want to fill the pockets with trash items like canslaw, bottlecaps, and rusty nails / tin. I would still need to have a trash pouch / container of some type.

Plus, in the spring and summer where we're hunting in the sagebrush, it gives those sly wood ticks too many places to hide.

I think a good trash / treasure pouch with a belt that can also hold a recovery tool like a lesche and perhaps an electronic pinpointer works best for my circumstances. It is easy to don and doff and can be placed into a bag holding other detecting items typically taken on each outing.
