I think the zincolns are quite pathetic. Truly a waste of effort and resources. Many businesses are already rounding off the 'pennies' so as not to deal with them.
This year I quit expending the effort to rescue them as it is not worth my time and resources. If it can't be spent AS IS, it is tossed into the garbage without a second thought.
Much of that sorting happens when I'm hunting. My 800 will ID the very corroded zincolns in the 16-19 range. Where 20 and 21 are the normal ID's of a clean new coin. If they are misshapen or pitted, they go into the trash side of the pouch and then into a garbage can as i leave the area.
Dust off hands. Walk Away.
Those that are in good enough shape to spend AS IS go into the pocket. Not many qualify for the pocket.
